Viniterra, wines of "Terroir"
The winery is placed in Luján de Cuyo, one of Mendoza finest winegrowing regions famed as the "Birthplace of Malbec in Argentina".
Annual production is around 1.200.000 liters with a capacity just increased reaching 3.400.000 liters within stainless-steel tanks, concrete vats, oak casks and French and American oak barrels. Next to the winery raises a temperature-controlled warehouse for over 1.500.000 bottles. Here wines are bottled and carefully stored till their release to the market.
Our wines are conceived by a qualified staff led by the winemakers Adriano Senetiner and Alejandro Rojas, who together with a recognized wine consultant have developed a wide portfolio of wines appropriate to the highest international standards and with an excellent quality-price relation.
Villa Rosa, our "Terroir"
The property is located on 222 acres (90 ha) just at the foot of the Andes on the prime zone of Alto Agrelo in Lujan de Cuyo, usually referred to as the "Birthplace of Malbec". The mountain and vineyards add to the outstanding innate beauty of the place.
In Villa Rosa we grow noble grapes such as Carménère, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Malbec, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon among others.
The altitude in this area reaches 1.020 meters above sea level, bringing fruit to complete maturity and excellent flavors concentration. This factor plus the excellent conditions of the terroir and the gentle labor performed by men from this place allow us to obtain high quality grapes which are later transformed into complex wines with great ageing potentials.
